My daughter is 5’1” and 88lbs. The size 10/12 fit perfectly but we decided to go with the 14/16 so that maybe she could wear them again next year. The Velcro at the waist cinches in enough to make them comfortable and functional now. The waist is a little scratchy so definitely make sure to wear a high waisted base layer with these. The color is great!
